Until today I had never really heard much about here, and today I was meeting Emma Eats and Weekends with Wendy for brunch.

Unfortunately Wendy couldn’t make it due to unforeseen circumstances, so it was just me and Emma.

This place is a little off the main street that people would walk on, so it is so easy to miss which is a shame as it’s a really nice.

As you can see from the above photo its very nice inside, and has a really nice and relaxing atmosphere.

The Food…

homemade cheesy beano, spiced red pepper sauce, yoghurt & herbs £8.25

I have not had a cheese beano in many many years, so when I saw this I had to have it.

This sounded like an interesting take on the beano, so when it arrived and looked as good as you can see in the photo I was hoping it would taste just as good.

This was very very very good, it brought back memories from childhood when I had a beano plus the peppers added that extra flavour.

I would highly recommend this.

After the beano I was very full, but hey there is no harm in looking at the desert menu right? well yeah…as I ordered the chocolate cake….greedy me

I have a sweet tooth and when I saw this it sounded interesting, flourless? how different could this taste….

This was the best chocolate cake I have had, it was sweet, and very soft and very very moreish!!!! yes I could have easily had another but I didn’t want to be too much of a pig today….more so since it was brunch.

If you love chocolate cake take a trip to here and try it! you will not be disappointed.

Overall

I am very glad that Emma recommended here, as this is a little gem that is hidden.

As you would expect by the name “Duck Club” duck does show up a lot on the menu, but there are other dishes to if you are not a big fan.

I look forward to going back and trying more dishes and having more chocolate cake mmmm I am drooling already!

See you soon.
