Finally, the kitchen and breakfast bar were in place.

My next step was to hire a tiler to complete the kitchen floor and the front entrance.
After finding one, it was time to choose some tiles. I ensured they were non-slip and coordinated. Initially, I considered black and shiny for a nice contrast, but upon realizing the potential danger of spilt water on shiny surfaces, I opted for non-slip tiles. As shown in the picture below, the tiler did an excellent job.

Regarding the front area, as you may have read in previous posts, I had to attempt to level the area before hiring the tiler.

These are the tiles I chose, and this is how it turned out. I selected this colour because there isn’t much light in my hall, so it adds a touch of warmth.
Now it was time to get the flooring down in the rest of the living room and hall, and my friend’s son helped with that.

As you can see what a transformation it took and he did an amazing job! My first time stepping inside my house after this I was blown away at how good it looked.
Now back to the kitchen…
Again I couldn’t have done this without the help of my two friends, I am truly blessed to have them in my life and how much they are helping me.
After lots of measuring and cutting and attention to detail, my friends got the breakfast bar sides on….followed by the surface and cut the hob hole and at that point, I had a nearly finished kitchen.

How amazing does it look!!! I still can’t believe after all this time wondering how it would look, I could now stand and see my friend’s design in front of me and it was a great design.
A few more finishing touches and I can start getting kitchen items and accessories.
What was outside cupboard which is now inside, my friends did some plumbing, cutting shelving and tidying the pipes inside….so now I am ready to get a washer dryer and put it in place.

Keep watching for what happens next.
