It was time to head back and check them out again, and also this time try something different from my first visit.

The Food

I wanted to try a burger tonight, but I wasnt super hungry so just the one item would do.

I opted for the cheeseburger meal which sounded just right for me.

Cheese Burger Meal £5.50
Cheese, Lettuce & Mayo with fries and a drink

I took my order home and plated up, took snaps and dug right in.

This is a basic cheeseburger meal, and it is basically what you get…but! yes, there’s always a but!

The burger was very tasty and had a very nice flavour and was moist which is always good.

The chips were just your standard fries, but they were perfectly cooked and didn’t need any salt.

Grillzz is not too far along the road from a Mcdonald’s but I am telling you to come here for your burgers, they are 1000% much better quality and for a quick fix and a nice burger, this was very very good.

Flavour overall was very good, I liked the taste of the burger and the burger sauce and I look forward to having this again and also checking out another item from their menu.

I am glad I visited again and tried another item, this was very nice and filled a much-needed space.

Todays Visit

The guys at Grillzz asked me if I fancied coming down to check out their food, so we set a date and I visited.

I have passed here many times and always thought I need to check it out, and more recently its on my way to my gym….so I was looking forward to the visit.

Inside & The Food

I asked the manager to suggest what he would like me to try and he really spoiled me.

Everything he mentioned sounded very good, and I started to get hungry.

Looking around you can sit in or you can takeaway.

Tonight was a very sunny night so I wanted a take away so I could sit outside and enjoy the food and sun.

German Doner Meal
Our best-selling kebab sandwich. Doner meat served with cabbage, onion, red cabbage & sauce

I opened the container and wow this was a big boy!

I took it in one hand, and I have big hands and this was still a big boy!

This looked and smelled very very good so it was time to take a massive bite.

This was a mouthful, and a very tasty one.

I could taste all the flavours, and had all the textures this was a very good doner. My fav is the meat in the doner it was packed with flavour, and worked very ell with everything.

If i want a German Doner fix I now have a local place I will visit.

Chicken Wings

They also gave me some wings to try with the mild peri peri sauce

On opening these looked good but mmm the smell was amazing.

I took a bite and wow this was packed with flavour.

The chicken was mega tender and the flavour was very good…wit the mild sauce it had a nice little kick which is perfect for me as I am now liking getting a wee kick from things.

Tender chicken breast cooked to perfection

My dad ordered this, and I took a small bite so I can tell you how it is.

Again the sauce was the mild peri peri

Visually these looked very nice, and the smell was very very good.

The bite I had the chicken was nice and tender, and worked very well with the sauce.

I personally still preferred the wings, but this was nice and my dad enjoyed it very much.

Firstly a big thank you to the guys for my invite, as always this was a 100% honest review and was not influenced in anyway.

I am glad I found another take away and when I feel the need to get a doner fix, this is where I will visit.
