I don’t tend to go for Spanish a lot when I eat out, to be honest, I really don’t know why it just tends to be Italian, Chinese or Indian…

I was walking around the West End today and saw a sign advertising this restaurant, so I thought let’s walk up to see what it looks like.

On entering, it looked very nice, and everyone looked very relaxed….so I opted to stay and have dinner.

The Food…

They recommend that you order a few dishes, as they are tapas and small…plus you can always order more if you’re still hungry.

Tapas

Chorizo a la sidra (GF) £6.00
Chorizo in cider

IMG_0488.jpg

These I have to start by saying come looking like this, normally they are finely sliced but now was the time to taste.

These were the best Chorizo I have had, and I really enjoyed them plus the sauce….mmm perfect!

Albondigas de ternera caseras £6.00
Homemade beef meatballs

IMG_0489.jpg

This for me looked a good portion size and smelled really good so I couldn’t wait to try them.

From start to finish these were cooked perfect, and full of flavour and very easy and light to eat.

Patatas: bravas o ali-oli (V GF) £4.50
Fried potatoes with spicy sauce or alioli

IMG_0495.jpg

Again another very good sized portion.

Hmm for me these were a little bland, the sauce did help add that little flavour.

For me just a little too bland so I am not sure I would order this dish again.

Flavour : 2.5

Value for Money : 3

Croquetas de morcilla £5.00
Black pudding croquettes

IMG_0494.jpg

This was very nicely presented, and very nicely prepared.

Basically, the haggis was turned in to a puree, so the texture was not what you expect but wow this is so good.

Value for Money : 5

Crema Catalana £5.00
The original creme brulee

IMG_0499.jpg

This looked very nice when it was placed on the table, and one of my fav desserts.

This was very nice, and I could have easily had seconds.

Elena’s Blackberry and Thyme Sparkle £5.00
House gin, fresh blackberry puree and cava

This cocktail was recommended by the staff tonight, so I thought let’s give it a go.

This was a very easy cocktail to drink, and one that was very very nice.

I have always walked past here and looked in and wondered what it was like, so today finally went in and also had a beer.

Inside had a nice cool and funky atmosphere, people were chatting, eating and also playing tabletop games which is very cool.

The Food…

Burger

Chipotle Chorizo £9.50
sesame and poppy seeded brioche bun, 7oz beef brisket patty, chorizo, padron peppers & chipotle mayo

IMG_0408.jpg

This sounded really nice, and looked ok when it arrived so it was time to taste.

Hmmm not as nice as it sounded.

This needed a lot!!!! more chipotle mayo and chorizo as the flavour was just there and no more….

Little dissapointed as it sounded really good.

Beer…

Very Big Moose £9.99

IMG_0403.jpg

OH! MY! GOD!!! this is my favourite beer ever!!!! it’s 12% and tastes like chocolate and very smooth…..

Yeah, its a little costly but so so so good.

Overall

Overall it was a mixed visit, the burger was just ok….will try a different one next time but the beer WOW this made my day and visit.

The beer was the best!!! cant wait to have this again!!

Tonight I was filming the next episode of my Blogger Meets Blogger Youtube interview series, and have mentioned what I thought of the food in the video but I thought let’s do a little blog review too.

View The Interview here: https://youtu.be/Lri722lJTxY

Eusebi Deli is my favourite Italian in the West End, and its always a must visit when I  need my Italian fix.

Tonight Eusebi Deli spoiled us…and I can’t thank them enough for tonight!!!!!

The owner was lovely enough to come and talk to everyone about the menu, the style of food and loads more.

Everyone ordered what they wanted, and we started filming.

The owner wanted us to try a few dishes, but I didn’t expect the amount that came out!!! wow, these were so so so good and tasty.

The Food…

Starters

So all of the following was brought to the table for us to sample, and wow these dishes looked amazing!!!….but did they taste as good as they looked?….continue reading to find out.

Cured Mackerel, Roast Red Peppers, Sultanas & Pinenuts

IMG_0180.jpg

We each all had some of this, and everyone loved it. The flavours were perfect, and it was just YUM!!!!!!

Scallop, Kumquat & Black Olives

IMG_0181.jpg

When it comes to these I have found they can either be cooked perfectly, or they are very rubbery and puts you off eating them.

These were cooked perfectly!!! and melted in my mouth mmmm my mouth is watering just typing this…

Vitello Tonnato Crudo
Tartare of Peelham Farm veal with tuna aioli sauce

IMG_0182.jpg

This was basically uncooked Veal…..instantly this sounded interesting and scary to me. I have always had graved into my brain, that uncooked meat is bad…..but I do know it can be classed as a speciality.

I took some on my plate and tried it…

This was interesting, the texture flavour was interesting for me….it was very nice but I am not sure I would try it again as the little guy in my brain was saying “its uncooked” but it was good to try something different.

Roman Foccacia Pinsa

IMG_0185.jpg

I think this is what this was called, if not please correct me.

OH MY GOD!!! this was soooooooo good!!!! I could have had at least 6 of these!!!

This is something I will be ordering every time I visit Eusebi.

Main Course

Crab Risotto £16
Cooked in a light shellfish stock, stracciatella & sea vegetables.

IMG_0186.jpg

I am a big risotto fan, so I had to try this.

As soon as this arrived my mouth instantly started to water, and visually this looked very very good.

Every mouthful was amazing, the flavours were perfect. Normally the fish is either overpowering or hardly there.

This was really good, and I can’t wait to have it again.

Overall

Tonight’s visit was a really nice one, and I enjoyed it from start to finish. Everyone was very relaxed and made to feel very welcome.

Eusebi was amazing to all of us tonight, and allowed us to film there plus treated us to the meal which was very unexpected. So from all of us again, a massive thanks to everyone at Eusebi.

Please do check Eusebi Deli out, the food is amazing and you will have an amazing time.

Love from all of us.
