Tuck Shakk – Taste of India Lunch (Glasgow, West End) : Review

As you previously have seen I was gifted my lunch last time from Tuck Shakk, but this time round we ordered and the theme of this one was Indian.

Todays menu

The food

As you can see from the above photos this was a big lunch, but a very very nice and tasty one.

The flavours were all very nice, and not super spicy it had a nice kick to it.

I really liked today lunch, the veggie biryani for me was my fav which I was shocked as if you know me am not Mr Veggie.

Just like the last time, again after eating all this I felt full but not bloated so I was very happy.

Desert :

Again the guys at Tuck Shakk included this for us….

How nice was that 🙂

This was a very nice ending to our meal, and was very nice.

My Tuck Shakk Lunch (Glasgow, West End) : Review

Gifted

I was recently gifted my lunch from Tuck Shakk, and here is what I thought.

What I ordered

1 x Chicken Burger with Buffalo Sauce
1 x Chicken Burger with Cajun Sauce
2 x Fries

The fries

Lets start with the fries, these were very nice and thin which I really like.

I am a big fan of thin fries, but overall very nice.

The Burgers

Both burgers were chicken burgers, and had lettuce, white onion, tomato and the sauce.

I found the burger to be very fresh, and tasty and the batter had a nice crunch to it.

The one thing I really liked was that after it, I didn’t feel bloated I felt full but not too full which I really liked.

I would have these again, and recommend them.

Desert :

Actually yes, the guys at Tuck Shakk included this for us….

How nice was that 🙂

These were also home made, and had a nice soft texture and really nice flavour. Both were gone just as fast as they were opened lol 🙂

Overall :

Note : Just because this was gifted, that has not influenced my thoughts in any way. The above is a 100% honest review of the food.

Firstly a big thank you to Tuk Shakk for gifting me and my fiancee lunch, we really enjoyed it and will definitely be ordering more soon.

As always I only do honest reviews, and I would recommend the burgers so visit their instagram account and send them a wee message 🙂

Thai Siam (West End, Glasgow) : Review

V: 31st January 2020

Tonight I couldnt be bothered making something I had in the flat, so I went walking and didnt really know what style of food I wanted for dinner.

I have passed here many times and never went in, so tonight I did that.

Looking Around

We were welcomes and shown to the tables, the staff were very friendly and inside was very nice.

It has a very cosy and relaxing atmosphere, and the music is at a perfect level.

The Food

I don’t have Thai food very often so I didn’t know what to select, so I randomly picked something.

Main Course

Creamy Chicken Curry (Gang Panang) £10.90

I did have coconut rice with this, but I forgot to take a photo and also take note of the cost (sorry I was hungry).

I asked the waitress how spicy this was, and told her I like just a little kick and she said she would let the chef know.

This smelled so good, so I started trying the rice on its own and it was really good. If you haven’t had coconut rice before I recommend you try it where ever you go.

I tried the chicken and the sauce on its own, and it was really nice…flavours all worked really good together.

If I was being fussy, the chicken could have been a little more tender….

Visit Overall :

Overall my experience tonight was good, the meal was good and really nice flavours. The chicken was my little issue, if it was more tender that would have been perfect.

Portion sizes were OK to, but maybe just £1 or £2 more costly than they should….well that’s my opinion.

I will take another visit here again, and try something else.
