One negative experience in Greece completely changed the way I travel, teaching me that not all ‘luxury’ listings live up to the hype. My hotel reviews focus on five key areas: location and accessibility, cleanliness and maintenance, staff service and hospitality, value for money, and unique character or standout amenities. I stay as a regular guest (not always disclosed) to provide an authentic experience, and I won’t recommend a hotel unless it genuinely impressed me.
