Alandas Gelateria (North Berwick, Scotland) 2021 : Review

The Visit

Prior to my North Berwick drive I checked out some sites to see any stand out places to visit, and Alandas Gelateria was one of them so I added them to my list.

After finally finding a place to park, on approach I noticed a massive line waiting to get in….really it was HUGE!!!! so I thought ok I will go for a walk about check the sights and then grab one on my way back.

The Ice Cream

Belgian Milk Chocolate & Salted Caramel £4.00

I am not a cone person, not sure why but I have always preferred a dish/tub.

Ohhh the chocolate one was really good, and so was the salted caramel this was mega YUM and perfect for today as it was very very warm

It was finished very fast, and now I see why there was a massive line to get in.

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Overall :

I am going to add here to my top spots to visit, if you ever come to North Berwick as the ice cream is very very good and perfect on a warm day.

Next visit I will try more flavours.

Candied Ice Cream Parlour (Denny, Falkirk): Review

GIFTED

It was time to go back to Candied, but this time their branch in Denny.

If you haven’t seen my other post or Vlog check it out, do a wee search on my blog or on my YouTube Channel.

Inside

Just like their other branch, it has the same funky modern and cool design. Everything looks amazing and so does the sweets and icecream.

What I got

Cookie Dough Tub

Cookie Dough is and always will be a massive favourite, more so if its warm and covered in gooey sauce and bits and bobs.

This was just that, it was warm and I got biscoff sauce sauce and also white choc chips….how good does it look?

Every mouthful was bliss and I could have easily had another 3 tubs or more mmmm

Tango IceBlast (Cherry and Bubble Gum)

I have started to enjoy these drinks more and more these days, as I have had a few with some home take aways.

On arrival here I had to get one and try it here, as my last visit I forgot to try one.

I opted for the Cherry and Bubble Gum mix as it sounded mega sweet which would tickle my sweet tooth.

I loved this! its flavour was amazing and it was fizzy so that added to the whole experience.

I cant wait to have this again.

Brownie & Ice Cream

Lets start with the brownie…

This was a good sized portion, and I couldnt wait to dig right in.

This is exactly what you want with a brownie, a slight hard shell, packed with flavour and soft and gooey centre…..its making my mouth water just typing this up.

Now the Ice Cream…

I got the following :

  • Unicorn (the blue one)
  • Jaffa Cake
  • Chocolate

I started with the Unicorn one, this was really nice and sweet and I could have easily had more of this as it hit my sweet tooth spot.

Next was the Jaffa Cake one, this tasted 100% like Jaffa Cakes plus had little bits of Jaffa cake in it which added to the extra mmmm

Now to my favourite ice cream flavour…chocolate! This was bliss thats all I can say 100% perfect.

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Visit Overall :

Note : Just because this was an invite, that has not influenced my thoughts in any way. The above is a 100% honest review of the day, and the sweets.

Guys if you have never visited any of Candied branches you have to check them out ASAP! This is the best ice cream you will ever taste!!! and everything else is mega mega moreish!!!!

I HIGHLY recommend Candied….and keep watching for my VLOG on todays visit.
