** This review was typed up before lock down! Please check with the restaurant if it is open or doing home delivery, and if they are check them out! **

The guys over at BurgurGrill Invited me, to their official launch night for BurgurGrill.

Looking Around

Inside has a very cool rustic look, and at the same time a very relaxing feel to it. I really liked the design inside, as I felt it really suited a burger restaurant.

The Food

I was given the menu and took a seat, and had a look.

Since this was a burger restaurant I asked the guys here what they would recommend, firstly was the beef burger and secondly was the butter chicken burger. Both of these options sounded really good, but I had to go with beef.

Main Course(s) :

Beef Burger : £N/A tonight (Normally £4.50 weekdays, £5.00 weekends)

served on a toasted brioche bun with lettuce, tomato, gherkin, mayo, cheese & fried onion

This was a nice looking burger, and it smelled really good to so it was time to take a bite and see how it tasted.

This was a really nice burger, the beef was very tender and a really nice flavour and worked as a whole bite.

BurgurGrill is 100% Halal, and the beef is from their family run butchers so they can trace its steps all the way back which is really good!

Sweet Potato Fries : £N/A tonight (Normally £2.50)

I have really started to enjoy Sweet Potato Fries more then normal fries, but it depends where you go as some can be just so so or very nice…..so I had to see how they did them here.

WOW!!!! ok I have to say these are the nicest sweet potato fries I have had!!! the flavour was good, they were just crispy enough and mmmm perfect!!!!

Since it was the launch night they were giving free wings with every order, lucky I had a small lunch with all this food.

These were very good, I loved the sauce it had just a slight kick and packed a lot of flavour.

Visit Overall :

Note : Just because this was an invite, that has not influenced my thoughts in any way. The above is a 100% honest review of the day, and the food.

Firstly a big thanks to the guys at BurgurGrill for tonights invite, and it was lovely meeting you again and your father 🙂

Tonights food was very good, I cant fault it in anyway. I enjoyed the burger, fries, wings and nachos and I am going to be going back again to try more food.

As I said the food here is 100% Halal, so if this is something that you look out for then take a visit here.

Brewdog (West End, Glasgow) : Review

V: 9th August 2020

I have visited Brewdog (West End) many times, either for some drinks or for some burgers.

Today I went with my best friend for a good catchup and chat.

The Burger

Buffalo Chicken Burger £9.19
Buttermilk fried chicken, Hot sauce, honey glaze, Gorgonzola sauce, baby gem in a sesame and poppy seeded brioche bun.

I wasnt mega hungry today, so I just ordered the burger on its on.

I wouldnt normally opt for this burger, as I am a play safe guy and no spicy sauces even if its just a little kick but I felt like it today.

The flavour of the sauce was so good, it had a slight kick, the batter was just crispy enough, the chicken was tender mmmmm SO SO SO GOOD!!!!

This was just ok, a little bit too watery for me…but ok.

Visit Overall :

As I said I have been here before, and enjoyed many visits and tonight was just the same.

The food was really nice, and I would order that burger again as the flavour was just soo good.

Manjaros (Glasgow, Springfield Quay) : Review

V: 15th February 2019

** This review was typed up before lock down! Please check with the restaurant if it is open or doing home delivery, and if they are check them out! **

I have followed Manjaros for a while now on Instagram, and tonight it was time to finally check them out.

Looking Around

Inside is very nice, it has a nice relaxing feel and look. The one thing inside that stood out for me was the lights, they are super funky.

The Food

I have never been here but have seen their photos on their instagram page, so I couldn’t wait to check them out.

Appetiser

Toasted Nachos £3.50

Nachos topped with jalapenos with melted mozzarella cheese and salsa.

I had to have a starter and the Nachos stood out for me.

On arrival this looked very nice, so it was time to dig in.

This was very nice, and a good sized starter lucky I shared this with my fiancee as the main portion was big.

As I said it was a nice starter, but if it was layered better this would have been perfect.

Main Course :

There was so many dishes I wanted to try, so I opted for something completely different to what I would normally order.

Chrispy Chicken Wrap £7.95

Boneless southern fried crispy chicken served with iceberg lettuce and cool mayo.

This looked very tasty on arrival and after the quick picture I dug in.

The wrap was very good, and the flavour was very nice.

The chips were a different story…

So this is a big personal preference, there was nothing wrong with the chips but I 1000% prefer skinny chips….yip am that person but yeah they were nice but skinny chips with this would have been perfect.

There was a sauce on the table that I fell in love with, and it worked AMAZING with this dish.

Visit Overall :

Looking around I saw that all the dishes here were a great portion size, and I have to completely agree with that.

The food here was very good, the only issues were just a personal preference.

I also tried some Chicken Parmesan from my fiancee as it was too big a portion for her and WOW this was really good!!!

And i LOVED!!!! that sauce!!!

I will definitely be going back as I really enjoyed their food.
