The guys at La Gioiosa sent me another wee gift and this time was this really! lovely Venice cookbook and Rosea Prosecco.
Firstly how good does the above photo look and that was just from opening the gift box! I actually felt a little bad taking both items out the box, as I was so impressed with the presentation.
The Items:
Let’s start with the Cookbook, this was beautiful to look at and very well detailed with amazing stories about Venice and great recipes!
As you know I like to try a recipe now and then so I will be trying some of these soon!
Venice Four Seasons of Home Cooking
The font, presentation, photos and information in this book is amazing!
I sat for at least two hours just flicking through the pages, and looking at the photos and recipes and also the little stories.
I loved this and I cant wait to add it to my future kitchen as I am sure I will be trying many items from this book so do keep watching for some recipes or attempted recipes…now on to the prosecco.
La Gioiosa Prosecco
Again just look at the design on the logo, its very smart easy to read and in pink very cute and perfect for those romantic nights at home.
I was asked to do a wee promo for these items, so I decided to make a meal and have the prosecco along side that.
As you may know I do like to try new recipes in the kitchen, and all have gone down a treat when friends and family have tried it so I started to think what to make.
I made a lovely carbonara which is so easy to make, and the traditional way with no cream!!
Tonight’s meal was very nice, and the Rosea prosecco worked perfect with the carbonara.
A big thanks to La Gioiosa for this absolutely lovely gift, and making my night extra special.
