The Visit

I recently returned to Bella Vita after one of my friends, impressed by the pictures I’ve been posting, expressed interest in trying it out. We set a date for a much-needed catch-up and headed over to Bella Vita.

As always, the staff were very welcoming upon our arrival, and Sean showed us to our table. I had a nice chat with a few of them before we settled down to look over the menu.

The Food

As always, the team here spoiled us with seven starters, each one absolutely amazing and packed with flavor.

My friend and I enjoyed catching up on these delicious dishes. Afterwards, it was time to browse the menu and decide what we wanted to order for our main course.

Spaghetti Carbona £12.50
pan-seared diced smoked bacon & onions, finished with double cream, parmesan, black pepper & parsley

I’ve tried many dishes here, but I decided to go with one of my favorites—the spaghetti carbonara, made the authentic Italian way. When it arrived, it looked as fantastic as always, and I couldn’t wait to dig in. For me, out of all the Italian restaurants I’ve been to, this is the best spaghetti carbonara, though, of course, that’s just my personal preference.

With every bite, the flavours came through beautifully, and the pasta was perfectly cooked. It was delicious from start to finish. Even though I was quite full from all the starters, I managed to finish it and thoroughly enjoyed every bit.

Ice-cream

I couldn’t stop there—I had to order some of their chocolate ice cream again to help digest all the wonderful food I’d enjoyed that evening.

As always, the chocolate ice cream, like all of their ice creams, was really excellent. It was smooth, creamy, and had a rich flavor that made the perfect end to the night.

Final Thoughts…

Tonight was a great night. I had a much-needed catch-up with my friend, and we both thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the experience. It was also nice to reconnect with the team here.
