The Visit
If you have been following my blog or Instagram you will have seen I posted a lot about Tuck Shakk.
I used to get a wee order from them when they started out in the West End of Glasgow. I recently looked them up and spotted they had a shop in East Kilbride and it was only a 10 min drive away.
I checked out the menu and took a visit.
The Order
Crunchy Burd £5.95
Plain Jane with cajun mayo and slaw
I am sure this is their signature burger that I had many times in the West End.
This was a big burger and smelled really good, I also ordered alongside a portion of fries.
The fries were nice, but it was the burger I was really looking forward to.
I took a big bite and mmm yeah just as I remember.
The crunch was just right, not too hard but not too soft….the chicken was mega tender! it melted in my mouth and the flavour was really good! I enjoyed every bite from start to finish and the best part was I didn’t feel bloated after it like some burgers.

Deep-Fried Oreos x8 £5.00
I also spotted this on the menu and I knew I had to try and see how it tasted.
I have tried a deep-fried mars bar in the past and really loved it so I thought will this be better or just as good?
I opened the container and ohh these looked interesting, and I took a bite…
The deep-fried Oreos are not as sweet as they normally are, but they still had a good taste. I then dipped it in the sauce and mmm nice.
I could have easily had more!

Overall :
It was great to head back to Tuck Shakk and have their burgers again, I would highly recommend you check them out when you can.
