The Visit
I have not been to a Tony’s in a long time, so it was time to go back and check them out.
I was up at Silverburn doing a bit of shopping, and decided tonight this is where I would be dinning for dinner.
The Burger
Tony Macaroni Burger £10.95
Homemade 6oz beef burger (x2), topped with our melted mushroom cheese, caramelised onions, bacon and lotto lettuce
For those that don’t know I work in an opticians, and I completely missed that it said 2 beef burgers….I think I should get a check-up.
The burger was massive, and looked very good so it was time to dig in.
This was nice, the burgers were nice and tender and everything was cooked perfectly….though none of the flavours stood out for me they all blended into each other.
The chips were good but I felt they were brought out the oil just a few seconds too soon, as a few more seconds they would have had a better texture and crisp to them.
Overall :
It was nice to be back out again and sitting in a restaurant, and nice to be back at Tony’s.
Tonight the waitress was very friendly and very helpful.
The food tonight was very filling, due to the double burger which I didn’t read correctly.
The burger was nice, flavour was nice and I enjoyed it. I would maybe try another one on my next visit as they had a few that jumped out at me.
