Visit & Vibes
I’ve wanted to stay here for about eight years, ever since I first started exploring Scotland. It took me a while to get around to it, but I’ve seen so many other amazing places in the meantime.
I finally booked an overnight stay and was incredibly excited to cross this one off my list. As I pulled into the car park, I couldn’t wait to check in and start exploring. Upon entering, the receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful. Their warm welcome made me even more eager to see my room and see what the hotel had to offer.
Booking Experience
I booked directly through their website, which was a very smooth and easy process to follow.
Arrival and Check-In
As mentioned, the receptionist was very helpful. They explained how to find my room and provided the details for breakfast, including the time and location, as I had booked a bed-and-breakfast package.

At this point, I also registered my vehicle to ensure I was cleared to park in their car park.

Bedroom and Amenities
Upon entering, I found the room to be lovely and very spacious. The bed was massive and extremely comfortable; it seemed to be two beds pushed together, but that didn’t bother me at all.
The room was spotless, and I was pleased to find tea and coffee facilities along with some biscuits. The view was a particular highlight; being situated at the back of the hotel meant I had a wonderful vantage point to enjoy, both when I arrived and the following morning.

The room was also well-equipped with extra linens and a TV. Overall, my first impression was excellent, and I couldn’t wait to wake up to that view the next day.

I had an exceptionally restful stay here. The bed was incredibly comfortable, paired with high-quality, soft linens that made a real difference.
Thanks to excellent soundproofing, I wasn’t disturbed by any noise from the hallways or neighboring rooms. The pillows were plush, and waking up to the stunning view from my window was the perfect way to start the morning.

Bathroom
The bathroom was a good size and came stocked with all the necessary toiletries, including shampoo and body wash.

It featured a shower-over-bath setup. If you have mobility issues, climbing in and out of the tub to shower might be a bit of a challenge, but otherwise, it was a very nice, cozy space. When I did take a shower, the water was warm almost instantly, I didn’t have to wait for it to heat up, which is always a plus!

Dining / Breakfast Area
After waking up to that spectacular view of Glencoe and getting ready, I headed down for breakfast.
The breakfast area was impressive—large and modern with plenty of light, yet it managed to feel cozy at the same time. In the center, there was a large table filled with various cereals and pastries, including pain au chocolat and croissants.

Along one of the walls was the hot food station, featuring everything from haggis and sausages to tomatoes and eggs. Next to that, they offered a selection of cold meats and yoghurts. It was a fantastic spread, and I certainly made the most of it!
For drinks, there were two machines serving coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. I managed to find a seat right by the window, so I was able to enjoy my breakfast alongside that stunning view.

Location and Accessibility
The hotel’s location is excellent, as you are surrounded by breathtaking views. If you enjoy hiking, you will love this area. For those who don’t mind a short drive, there are many stunning spots nearby that I highly recommend visiting; the scenery is truly spectacular.
Accessibility Regarding accessibility, the path from the car park to the reception is all on one level. There is also a lift available to take you to the upper floors, making the entire hotel very easy to navigate.
Final Thoughts…
Overall, I absolutely loved my stay and I can’t wait to visit again. From the cozy bedroom with its amazing morning views to the fantastic breakfast area with its equally stunning backdrop, everything was perfect.
I really should have done this a long time ago, and I am already looking forward to my next visit!
