Visit & Vibes

It had been a while since I last visited, so as I was in the area, I decided to pop in and check it out again.

Upon entering, it had the exact same vibe I remembered. It was an absolutely sunny day, so they had the front shutters open, which really added to the atmosphere. It was great to be back; I should have returned much sooner.

I was hungry, so I definitely wanted to see what food was on offer. It was a difficult choice, though, as there were so many great stalls, but I managed to pick one.

The food stall of choice today was Smashed. I was really in the mood for a burger, and after looking over the menu, several options caught my eye, but one really stood out.

Once my burger was ready, I took it back to my table. As soon as I opened the wrapper, it looked and smelled absolutely amazing. I also ordered a side of chips, which were a separate option; they were perfectly salted, beautifully crisp, and delicious.

Then I took a bite of the burger, and wow! it was incredible. The patties were cooked perfectly, lovely and tender, and the black pudding added a fantastic depth of flavour. Everything came together so well; the hint of truffle was perfect, and the caramelized onions were delicious. This was easily one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. Every mouthful was a treat; honestly, it made my day. Highly recommended!

Final Thoughts…

Overall, it was a fantastic visit. The burger was so good that I honestly can’t wait to have it again. I paired it with a ‘Zero Zombi Mocktail’ since I was driving which was very refreshing, and to wrap up my visit, I grabbed some ice cream from a nearby stall.

If you’ve never been here, the vibe is excellent whether you visit during the day or in the evening. The food stalls are top-notch, so definitely go with an empty stomach!!! you’ll want to try a little bit of everything! I can’t wait to return and check out another stall soon.
