Visit & Vibes

Yip back again and so soon!

My dad fancied seeing here so I took my parents a wee drive here for some lunch.

I have been here before so do check out that review too.

Today’s weather was a little bad, snow, wind, sleet, etc but on arrival due to where it’s situated, it felt very Christmasy and looked very nice.

I checked out the shop area again and spotted a few sweets and drinks but I was a good boy today and will get something on my next visit.

The Food

It was very busy today but we managed to get a table.

Last time I had the haddock so I wanted to try something different and I thought let’s check out their burgers.

Pulled Pork Burger £13.95
Steak burger topped with pulled pork, BBQ sauce & cheese. The burgers are served in a sesame seed bun with salad garnish, chips & tomato relish.

On arrival, this looked very good and had a nice aroma…I was very hungry after my drive so I dug right in!

I assembled the burger and took a big bite!

This was very tasty, so the pulled pork texture came through first, followed by the burger then everything else.

This was really nice, but I did put some sauce on this after a few bites and it took it to another level, as it helped with everything as I felt it was a little too try.

Overall this was a really nice burger and I am glad I tried it, and I would easily have it again on my next visit…but at my next visit, I will try another item.

Malteaser Traybake £2.95

Yip, there is always room for something sweet after the meal, and today I decided to have a wee home-baked traybake.

They had a few options that sounded very good, but I decided to go for this.

This was a good-sized slice, and visually this looked really nice.

I took a bite and this was good! it wasn’t as sweet as you would think, it had a lovely texture and was very light and easy to eat.

I could have easily had another after this, but I was being a good boy today.
