Overton Farm Oven Restaurant Coffee Shop (Carluke) 2024 : Review

Visit & Vibes

As you know, I enjoy taking a drive occasionally to explore the nearby shops. However, I came here for my lunch because I’ve always found it very pleasant. One of my passions is supporting local farms, which is why I frequently visit farm shops.

This is why I like coming here—the staff are always very friendly, and the food is consistently excellent.

The Food

Tuna & cheese melt Panini £8.95
served with homemade coleslaw and salad or chips.

Today, I opted for a tuna melt panini and chose chips instead of a side salad. As you know, I’m not a big fan of salads, so chips it was.

Upon arrival, I found the portion size to be generous, especially for lunch. I started with the chips, which were perfectly cooked and had a delightful flavor. They didn’t require any additional salt or pepper, which suited my personal taste. They were just fine as they were.

I then took a bite of the panini. The bread was lovely and fresh, and the tuna melt combination was excellent. Every bite was extremely moreish and tasty, making this a perfect and very enjoyable lunch. It’s definitely something I’d recommend if you ever come out here.

Final Thoughts…

Overall, it was another very enjoyable visit. I noticed that they’re expanding their farm shop, so I look forward to checking it out and getting some produce once it’s finished.

Supporting local farms is always a great idea, so do check them out. As I mentioned earlier, the food here is always delicious.
