Visit & Vibes

I’ve frequented ChapteIV a few times before, and on my initial visit, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

However, my recent visits have left me with a more mixed impression.

Last night, as I entered the establishment, it was rather late, and, being a weekday, the place was notably quiet. Nevertheless, I found the atmosphere still quite pleasant, and the staff remained as friendly and welcoming as ever.

The Food

Crispy Chicken Burger £11.95

Tonight, I was torn between the Crispy Chicken Burger and the Crispy Chicken Wrap. In the end, the siren call of the burger won me over.

As it arrived at my table, the initial impression was a bit underwhelming. The chips, admittedly, looked quite enticing, but the burger’s visual presentation left room for improvement. Seeking to elevate it, I added cheese, though some of it ended up adhering to the bun’s top.

With anticipation building, I took a hearty bite, hoping for a flavor explosion.

Regrettably, the taste was simply adequate. It possessed a pleasing crispiness and a generally agreeable flavor, but it didn’t manage to sweep me off my feet. In fact, it gave off a homemade vibe, akin to a frozen chicken burger hastily assembled in a kitchen.

Don’t get me wrong; it was a pleasant meal, but it didn’t inspire me to consider a repeat performance.
