Visit & Vibes

I love a wee visit to North Berwick, a walk along the beach, checking out the local shops, and visiting a nice place to eat.

I have been here a few times and always enjoyed it so today I visited again.

The Food

I knew what I wanted to have today and that was a burger, so I opted for their classic and added cheese.

Classic Burger – £12.95
Anderson 6oz beef burger in a toasted brioche bun. Served with homemade slaw, roast tomato relish, and fries.

Add cheese £1.50  |  Add bacon £2.00

On arrival, this looks a good-sized portion and had a very good aroma.

I started with the chips, and these were perfectly cooked and didn’t need any extra salt which is always a plus for me.

Now for the burger…

Visually this looked good, though I think it needed more cheese than one slice….now time to bite.

I took a big bite and yeah this was a very tasty burger, the pattie was nicely seasoned and perfectly cooked and the whole flavour of the burger was nice.

Overall this was a really nice lunch, it was a good-sized portion and a tasty burger but for me, maybe another slice or two of cheese would have made this much better…but that’s a personal preference.

Yes, there is always room for something sweet, and this is what I opted for.

I believe they were homemade, and that’s the best way as this tasted very very good.

There was a perfect amount of caramel, which with this there has to be or it’s just ok.

I would have this again 🙂

Final Thoughts…

As I said I love visiting North Berwick and also popping in here, the staff and service is always great.

Food is always very tasty, and I always look forward to trying different dishes every time I come here.
