Visit & Vibes

It was time to support local again, and just a few doors down from where I work that’s where you will find Tonys.

I have been in a few times and spoken to the owner every now and then when we pass on the street.

The Food

Tonight I wanted to get something I have not had in a while from a fish and chips, as I tend to visit restaurants more.

Single Fish Supper £5.50

I wanted to check out their fish, as on the last visit, I got a pizza crunch and also tried the burger supper.

I placed my order, got it freshly made, and headed home to plate up.

I opened the container to get a great aroma, and also this looked very tasty so after all my snaps I dug right in.

Let’s start with the chips…

The chips were nicely cooked, they had a very slight crispness to the outer layer but were nice and soft on the inside.

The fish, had the same nice light crispness to the batter and inside it was nice and flaky and had a really lovely taste.

Overall this was a nice wee takeaway and I am glad I finally checked out their fish and chips.
