No12 Hotel & Bistro (North Berwick) 2022 : Review

Todays Visit

Today was a nice day and I had no plans, so I thought let’s go to North Berwick and do the Sula boat tour of Bass Rock.

This was a great wee boat tour, it lasts about 90 mins…which personally I think could be cut to 45 mins to one hour but you get great views of the rock and the tout guide was very good with all the detail.

After the trip it was time to find somewhere to eat, so I decided to head back here and try something different.

The Food

On my last visit, I had the Nachos so I wanted to try something different.

Fish and Chips – £14.95
Your choice of Beer Battered or Breaded North Sea Haddock. Served with chips, house salad and homemade tartare sauce.

On arrival, this looked and smelled good and it was a good sized portion.

Time to dig in and see what it was like.

This had a lovely taste, and was so nice every bite. There were no bones from start to finish and tasted very good with the addition of the tarter sauce.

I really enjoyed this dish, and would easily have it again. I even said to my father about this, as I know he likes a good fish and chips.
