Todays Visit

I was at this location before it became Roberta’s, and I have to say it was ok but not worth the money and the service was just so so.

Tonight a friend and I were off to the Kings to see Jack Dee and he suggested this place and I said ok. When I heard it had been taken over I was excited to try somewhere new.

The Food

I had no idea what to order so I ordered items that I have not had in a while.

Calamari Fritti 8.5
Fresh Deep Fried Squid, Squid Ink Aioli

Calamari Fritti is a hit or miss dish, its either perfectly cooked and tasty or over cooked and chewy and ok.

On arrival this looked and smelled very good, I was a little hmm with the Aioli should it not have been black in colour?

I took a bite of the calamari on its own and yes! this was perfectly cooked and had a nice batter and flavour. I then took it with the aioli and ohh this again so so good!

I loved this dish from start to finish and would easily have had it again.

Porchetta, Crème Fresh, Parmesan Cheese

This was a random choice but it did sound very good from the description.

On arrival this looked for me like a small dish but I was very wrong!

Firstly lets start with presentation this looked very nice, and honestly the aroma mmm yip that sums it up just mmm

I took a bite and an explosion f flavours burst in my mouth, the lovely sauce, followed by the porchetta and I think i got a hint of lemon mmm another amazing dish!

I highly recommend this dish if you visit here and I would easily have it again.
