Todays Visit

I like my random drives, and I decided to head back to Turnberry Lighthouse but before that I wanted a place to stop for lunch.

I opened my maps and found this little place, so I thought lets check it out.

On entering you have a little gift shop, which has many fresh vegetables, jams, clothing etc just bits and bobs which I am sure you will find something that catches your eye.

Food wise it is very limited but it really depends on what you are after, they do baked potatoes, sandwiches, wraps, and paninis all prepacked. They also do soups, teas, coffees and a great selection of cakes.

It is self-service, so you order then wait and then head to a table.

The Food

Tuna Melt Panini £5.95

I was a little hesitant that it was all prepacked but I was totally wrong to think that.

After the guys warmed it up, I headed to my table and selected to sit outside with the great view.

This looked really good and also had a great aroma.

I took a bite and WOW this was super tasty!

The flavours for me were very very good, and I could probably say it’s one of the best tuna melts I have had.

Caramel Woopie Cookie

At the time of placing my order and paying, you are right next to the cake display and all of them looked very very nice.

This was the one I ordered today and I couldn’t wait to try it as it was HUGE!!!

I took a bite and mmm this was perfect for my sweet tooth.

I loved every bite of it and this is now my favourite type of cookie!

I can’t wait to visit again just to have this again.

Visit Overall

Overall it was a nice experience, the staff was all very friendly and helpful and the view from outside of the window was very nice.
