TeamSport Indoor Go Karting (Cambuslang, Glasgow) 2025 : Review

Visit & Vibes

I was recently invited back to TeamSport Indoor Go Karting and chose the Cambuslang location, as I had previously visited the Clydebank one but had never been to this branch. I was really looking forward to checking it out. On arrival, I noticed they have a large car park, which is always a plus.

Upon entering, I was welcomed at the front desk, where I set up an account and was directed to head through to the next area. As I walked in, I passed by the track, and that’s when my excitement skyrocketed—I couldn’t wait to get out there!

I spent some time outside watching the racers already on the track. There’s also a food area on-site, which I planned to check out after my race.

When it was nearly time for my session, the group I was with was called into a room where we watched a video covering the rules, health and safety information, and other important details. It was really helpful, especially if it’s your first visit.

Once that was done, it was time to gear up. We headed over to collect our gloves and helmets and waited for our turn to get in the go-karts.

Once we were all in our go-karts and given the signal to start, that’s when the real fun began.

These go-karts can reach speeds of up to 40 mph, but because you’re so low to the ground, it feels more like you’re doing around 60!

Going lap after lap was such a thrill. It took me one or two laps to get used to the handling and how the kart responded, but after that, it was non-stop fun until the session ended. I could’ve easily gone back out again.

When I visited the Clydebank track, I’m pretty sure I finished in seventh or eighth place. This time, though, I came in fifth, which I was really happy with. Hopefully next time, I’ll do even better!

After we all got out of our go-karts, it was time to head into the café to grab some food and a drink.

The Food

Menu Choice★★★★

VEGGIE SUPREME £n/a tonight (normally £12.95)
A mouth watering vegetarian option, featuring Mushrooms, Onions & Peppers on a classic Tomato Base

For my choice at the café, I decided to go for the Veggie Supreme pizza. I wanted to try something different tonight, and this was definitely a change for me.

When it arrived, it was a good size and looked great visually—I couldn’t wait to dig in after working up an appetite on the track.

Taking my first bite, I was pleasantly surprised. The pizza was packed with flavour, perfectly cooked, and really enjoyable—an ideal treat after a thrilling race.

Final Thoughts…

Overall, I had a fantastic evening, and a big thanks to the team for the invite. If you’ve never tried this, you’re definitely missing out. And if you have, I’m sure you’ve gone back more than once—just like I plan to!

Have you been? If so, what did you think—and how did you score in your race?
