I purchased this deal for afternoon tea as part of a Mother’s Day treat. I decided to choose a place I haven’t visited in a while—and one where I’ve never tried their afternoon tea before. I had been here previously for lunch, which was really good, so I thought it would be nice to come back and check out the afternoon tea.

Today was extremely busy, so I’m using photos from my last visit. I don’t like taking pictures when there are too many people around, just in case they’re uncomfortable with it. As you can see, the place is really lovely and hasn’t changed much since my last visit.

The Food

Afternoon Tea (ITISON Deal)

On arrival, the presentation of the afternoon tea was lovely. The sandwiches offered a good variety, so there was something both boys would enjoy. The scones included one plain and one fruit scone, which was perfect—my mum isn’t a fan of fruit scones, so I had that one. The cakes were also very nice and a really good portion size for an afternoon tea.

The sandwiches were extremely fresh and very tasty. The scones were also lovely—I like mine with cream and jam, so I really enjoyed them. Then onto the cakes—each one was fresh and full of flavour. Honestly, when I first saw the afternoon tea, I didn’t think I’d feel that full afterwards, but I actually was! It was a generous portion for two people.

I’m really glad I came back to try the afternoon tea. Now that I know what it’s like, I’ll definitely return—either for food or another afternoon tea.

Today’s visit was really enjoyable. The staff were very friendly, and the service was excellent.

The afternoon tea was delicious—very fresh, very tasty, and surprisingly filling. If you’re in the area, definitely check this place out, whether for the afternoon tea or something from their regular menu. The food here is consistently great.
