Red Shed Pizza (Glencoe Inn, Glencoe) 2025 : Review

Visit & Vibes

Recently, I went on a trip to Glencoe with some friends, and for lunch, we decided to stop at The Red Shed Pizza, located inside the Glencoe Inn at the back.

Upon entering, the place felt welcoming, and we were greeted warmly. We were informed about how to order our food and shown where to grab a seat. The atmosphere was pleasant and inviting.

The Food

Menu Choice★★★★

Highlander Pizza £15.00
Stornoway blackpudding, haggis

We were given two menus—one for The Inn and another for The Red Shed Pizza. I was in the mood for pizza, and the Highlander caught my eye, mainly because it featured haggis, which sounded quite appealing. I was excited to try it out.

After collecting my pizza, I returned to our table. The pizza looked good, with a decent aroma, although none of the flavours were giving a particularly strong aroma. Visually, it was certainly appetising.

When I took my first bite, I found that none of the toppings stood out more than the others in terms of flavour, which was a bit disappointing. What I noticed most was the base—it was more bread-like than a typical pizza dough. This texture is often caused by not adding enough water during the dough-making process. Unfortunately, this issue was consistent with both my pizza and my friends.

Overall, the pizza was just okay. The base was the biggest letdown, as it lacked the proper texture of a well-made pizza dough.

Final Thoughts…

Overall, today’s visit was ok.

The owner or manager was very friendly, and the place was clean and welcoming. However, the pizza itself was just average.

The base was the main disappointment for both myself and my friends.
