Visit & Vibes
I had planned to visit this place a few weeks ago and then attend a concert, but unfortunately, the storm that hit Glasgow and surrounding areas caused a postponement, so we had to cancel. However, we finally managed to return and check it out. This time, we noticed there was an ITISON deal, which was too good to pass up.
Upon arriving, we were shown to our table immediately, the staff were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The interior was lovely—small but cosy. I couldn’t wait to try their tapas!

The Food

With the voucher, we got to pick three tapas each, plus a glass of wine. Since I was driving, I swapped the wine for a Coke. We also got to choose one dessert, making it a really great deal.
As I looked at the menu, to be honest, I would have loved to try more dishes or even order from the main menu, as everything sounded amazing. It was a tough decision to pick what we were going to share tonight.
For this review, I’ll write it as an overall experience since it was a voucher deal, rather than reviewing each individual dish like I would typically do if it were an invite or a personal visit.
To be honest, every dish we had tonight tasted amazing and was very filling. While everything was delicious, there were a few standout dishes for me, the first being the paella. I absolutely loved it and could have easily eaten more. The flavour was incredible, and it was perfectly cooked—extremely moreish.
The monkfish cheeks with chorizo were also excellent. The chorizo just melted in your mouth, and the flavour wasn’t overpowering—it was perfectly balanced. It’s another dish I could have easily had seconds of.
One thing I tried tonight, not knowing what it was at first, was the Espadin Frito—deep-fried and dusted with paprika. As soon as it arrived, I realized what it was. It reminded me of a snack I used to have in Romania during my visits, especially paired with a beer. This dish brought back some wonderful memories. It might not be for everyone because of its appearance, but trust me, it’s something worth trying—the flavours were fantastic.

Of course, there was still room for dessert after all of that, and just like the other dishes, it was amazing.

Final Thoughts…
Overall, it was a wonderful first visit for me, although my friend had been before. We both had a fantastic meal filled with great food and laughter. If you haven’t been to this restaurant yet, I highly recommend it.
Because I enjoyed the food so much and the service was great, I’m adding this place to my top restaurants list. If you do check it out, let me know in the comments what you ordered and what your thoughts were! If you recommend something I haven’t tried yet, I’ll definitely give it a go on my next visit.
