Visit & Vibes

Today while I was out with my friend we decided to head back over to Silverburn and do some light shopping and grab something to eat.

After narrowing it down Zizzi’s was selected again.

The Food

Meat Sofia Pizza £15.95
Say hello to a tempting trio of harissa chicken breast, pepperoni and torn pork & garlic meatballs. Topped off with mozzarella, spicy roquito chillies and rosemary.

With high hopes and a grumbling stomach, I took my first bite, expecting a delightful burst of flavors. I braced myself for a hint of spiciness, a symphony of tastes, and most importantly, the promise of garlic meatballs. However, reality turned out to be quite different.

From the very first slice to the last, the pizza failed to deliver on its meatball promise. In fact, I’m not even sure if they made an appearance at all. The chillies, which I thought would provide a fiery kick, were disappointingly not even kicking the slightest of kicks…..were they even on this too?

The pepperoni was a saving grace; its savory, slightly spicy notes added a welcome dimension to the pizza. Yet, it felt like there could have been a bit more of it to really elevate the overall experience. On the bright side, the chicken breast was tender, moist, and wonderfully seasoned, making for a pleasant contrast to the rest of the toppings.

In the end, this pizza left me with mixed feelings. While the base was impeccably cooked, and the toppings that did show up were undeniably tasty, it fell short of the explosive flavor adventure I had anticipated. It was a good pizza, no doubt, and it certainly filled me up, but it lacked the wow factor that I was hoping for.

Today’s visit to Zizzi was a mixed bag again, I did get a nice pizza but it didn’t taste like the description.
