Visit & Vibes

I was in the area today and I wanted something for lunch, and I opened my satnav and this was the first entry that came up so I just tapped it and headed there.

On arrival from the outside, it looked ok, and on entering I was greeted and shown to a table.

What I did notice was the floor was sticky, but I sat down and had a look at the menu…..and how dirty and sticky the seat was….but I will get to that in the rest of the blog review.

The Food

I only wanted a light bite as it was lunchtime, and luckily they had a light bites menu.

Nachos £7.50
Our famous Nachos are topped with melted cheddar cheese with salsa, guacamole & sour cream on the side. Choose from beef chilli, black pudding, haggis or veggie haggis to top them off.

I opted for the Haggis topping.

On arrival, this looked good and also had a very good aroma. The portion size was very good and perfect for one person as either a starter or as the menu described it as a “light bite”

This was very enjoyable, everything tasted very good, and there was a perfect amount of cheese vs nachos which can always be an issue.

The haggis had a good flavour, and I enjoyed this from start to finish.

Final Thoughts…

Overall today’s visit was so-so, the food was nice and the presentation was nice but everything else just didn’t gel together.

I also didn’t notice till I stood up how dirty and sticky my seat was, that plus the sticky floors….not good!!!!!

Due to the cleanliness only I will be giving a low mark, food wise that part was nice.
