Todays Visit

I was out and about today, and I decided to pop over to the Fort to grab some food and a wee walk about the shops.

I stopped off here as its been ages since my last visit to one.

The Food

I knew I was going to two burger places soon, so I thought lets try something different and the vegan burger jumped out at me.

I thought lets give it a try and see how tasty it is…or isnt.

Viva La Vegan Stacker £13.40
Vegan 1/4 pounder burger, smashed avocado, tomato, red onion, lettuce, basil, red chilli dressing and vegan mayo.

Upgrade to sweet potato fries £0.60

I have not really tried the Vegan scene as in my mind the taste will never be as good as the real thing….so I was a little hesitant to try this but I did.

On arrival this actually looked very nice, and I couldn’t wait to dig in and see what it was like.

I upgraded to the sweet potato fries and they were very very good, I am starting to enjoy these more than normal fries.

It was now time to try the burger….so I took a big bite.

Wow ok I was very surprised, it tasted really good! Everything on it was a great combo.

I would be happy to have this again, and happy I took the chance to try it.

Soft Pornstar Martini £5.00
Gordons 0% gin, passionfruit puree, pineapple juice, vanilla syrup and lemon juice. Served with a shot of Scavi & Ray alcohol-free Italian fizz.

I miss having a wee cocktail or two as I am always out driving, so when I spotted this I had to order it and see how close it tasted to the original version.

On arrival this looked very good and similar to to the other Pornstar Martini’s I have had.

I took a sip and ohhh this was mega tasty and very very close to an alcoholic version.

I tried the fizz and again this was really tasty! and I am going to look for the brand and check them out.

Overall this was very very good and I great non alcoholic version for all those designated drivers like me out there to try.
