Todays Visit

Now this was an interesting visit….

I had originally wanted to take a wee drive to see Kendal as its been on my list for a while, and the weather looked sunny till 5pm so I got in my car and headed down south.

I arrived and looked for a car park, and I spotted Booths had one and thought while here I will get some lunch then take a walk about Kendal.

I spotted they did afternoon tea so I had to check it out.

The Food

Afternoon Tea £20

On arrival this looked really good, and for the price great value for money.

Now it was time to taste it and see how good it really was.

Looking around I could see mini soups, I am not a big soup fan I like this wee touch.

Everything on this was super fresh and very tasty, and I enjoyed the sandwiches very much.

The scones were fruit scones which was very fresh and very tasty, but one plain would have been good for someone that didn’t like fruit scones….but they make up for that with clotted cream!!! the way it should be served!

Cakes were very fresh and tasty just like this whole afternoon tea.

I cant fault this in anyway it was very nice.

Todays visit was very good, unfortunately after the afternoon tea I looked out the window and the rain was bouncing off the street so i headed back to sunny Scotland.

For the Afternoon Tea it was great value for money and very tasty! I will be adding here to my top spots page.

The only comments I can make about today is there was no music in the background so it lacked some atmosphere, and the service was a little slow as I was told they had one Afternoon Tea left which suggested it was close to being ready to be brought out…but there was a good wait…maybe for the soup? dunno…but that’s it which to be honest is nothing.
