Second month back at the gym (JD Gym Southside) 2022

No pain no gain…

Now this month was the hardest for me so far.


Week 5 I caught covid so I was stuck inside for a whole week, I was find just had a temperature first two days then all fine apart from that wee line on the test.

Finally when I was clear and it was back on my normal Monday wow this was a struggle….though it was only for that first day back which I was happy about.

I removed the row machines as I wanted to focus on other machines and then return to adding that.

As I said this return back week 5 and after having covid was a big struggle, as I am out nearly every night after work and then heading to the gym…I just wanted to go home but I kept it up and was glad I did.

My Workout

This will change with each month, as the amount/weight will increase each week and I plan every two weeks on adding a new machine.

I will do one month at 100 and then pop it down to the next weight depending on the machine.

Month 3’s Set

  • Biceps Curl x 60 @ 18kg
  • Ab Cruncher x 60 @ 30kg
  • Chest Press x 60 @ 18kg
  • Seated Row x 60 @ 18kg
  • Lat Pulldown High x 80 @14 kg
  • Lat Pulldown Low x 80 @14 kg
  • Indoor Cycle x 30 mins (workload 5)
  • Treadmill x 60 mins (4.0 speed 3% incline)
  • Shoulder Press x 30 @ 9kg

Final Thoughts…

This month took a lot of willpower to get through so I wonder how next month will be.

I hope to start seeing some physical change soon, but my primary goal is to shift the belly fat and tone up and everything else is a bonus.

I am now down to 83.3kg but this has not changed for the total 8 weeks, so lets see what I am at next month.
