The Visit

I have heard many people talk about 111 and its always been positive, so I added it to my ever-growing list of places I want to visit.

Tonight’s visit I was meeting friends for a good catch-up and they suggested we go here, I was really looking forward to it…plus they said its a 10 course tasting menu.

The number of courses was like wow but I knew everything would be a good size and the menu looked mega tasty!

The 10 Courses

Don’t panic! I wont be doing a full 10 course post, more an overview and my favourite courses.

I have never really done a tasting menu, I have always avoided them as I thought I would probably need to have something to eat after it….I was very wrong!

We arrived at 7pm and didn’t leave till just after 11pm, so it takes roughly 3 hours to have your full taster plus any tea’s coffee’s after it.

The décor inside is lovely and the atmosphere was very good, it was a packed night! and everyone looked like they were loving what they were having.

From start to finish everything was packed with flavour! visually looked amazing and every course was very moreish!

I was very impressed with everything tonight and I can see why many of the people I follow on Instagram have been raving about it here.

My favourite courses were :

  • Course 2- Polenta
  • Course 4 – Mackerel
  • Course 6 – Pork Cheek
  • Course 10 – Vanilla Crème Brulee

I would love to have some of these courses as a full dish, but then again I really enjoyed all the dishes tonight and the fun of trying many items.

I am 100% going to try another tasting menu soon! and I will be adding here to my top spots page!.
