Today I was in the Blythswood Hotel for the Gin Festival event, and while we were there we decided it would be nice to go upstairs and have some lunch.

I have been to the Blythswood Hotel many times, but never really had lunch it’s always been Afternoon Tea or dinner.

Today I ordered :

Hot Smoked Salmon and Atlantic Prawn Mousse Wrap £8.95

I have found that the Blythswood Hotel has the presentation of many dishes perfect, and the dishes are always full of flavour.

For me, the portion size was good, as it was just lunch. The flavour for me was more towards the Salmon, as I found it difficult to taste any prawn. It was also a little dry, it could have done with some mayonnaise in the wrap.

Flavour : 3.5

Overall it was very nice, but as I said I felt it to be a little dry for my liking.

We all had a nice relaxing lunch, as the atmosphere is always perfect.
