Visit & Vibes

It had been a while since I was last here. The first time I visited was on an invite, and I always try to return to places after being invited.

Firstly, I like to see if it’s still as good as it was the first time around, and secondly, if I really enjoyed it initially, I want to check that the quality and experience remain just as good.

Once again, just like my first visit, we were warmly greeted on arrival and shown to our table. The staff were all very friendly, helpful, and extremely attentive.

I was really excited for today’s visit, as I’ve been wanting to try and visit for a while and today, I finally did.

The lunch menu is tapas-style, so it was time to order a few dishes and try a bit of everything, including each other’s plates.

The first dish to arrive was the Patatas Bravas. The presentation looked great, and the aroma was fantastic, so it was time to dig in and see what they were like.

The outside of the Patatas Bravas was beautifully crisp, while the inside remained soft and fluffy.

The flavour was absolutely amazing. I could easily have ordered another six and finished every single one.

This dish was superb. We both thoroughly enjoyed it, thought it was outstanding, and would highly recommend it if you’re visiting.

LAMB RIBS £16.00
LOW & SLOW LAMB RIBS + MINTED CHIMICHURRI

The next dish was the lamb ribs. Once again, just like all the dishes that arrived today, the presentation was beautiful and the aroma was fantastic.

Each rib was the perfect bite size, packed with flavour, and cooked to perfection.

The minted chimichurri really added that extra kick and elevated the overall flavour of the dish. From start to finish, this was another thoroughly enjoyable plate.

SEARED SCALLOPS £16.00
TRUFFLE + PARMESAN CREAM + SMOKED CAVIAR

The next dish was the seared scallops. I’m a huge fan of scallops, so I couldn’t wait to try these, especially as the menu mentioned truffle and Parmesan cream.

On arrival, the presentation was beautiful and the aroma was incredible. As soon as I finished taking my photos, I couldn’t wait to dig in.

The scallops were perfectly cooked. Paired with the rich Parmesan cream and smoked caviar, this was a truly outstanding dish. It was full of flavour, and I thoroughly enjoyed every single bite. If you’re a scallop fan, I highly recommend ordering this, you won’t be disappointed.

ROAST HARISSA CAULIFLOWER £9.00
GRILLED CHEESE + PIRI PIRI + HARISSA MAYO

The final dish was the roast cauliflower. Once again, the presentation was perfect on arrival, and the harissa mayo gave off a fantastic aroma.

The cauliflower was cooked beautifully, and the combination of harissa sauce, peri-peri, and grilled cheese made this one of the nicest cauliflower dishes I’ve ever tried. I’m not usually a big fan of cauliflower, but this was genuinely impressive. I could easily see myself ordering it again on my next visit.

If you’re a cauliflower lover, I highly recommend this dish; you won’t be disappointed.

Final Thoughts…

I had such a great day, and I’m so glad I returned. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, my visit was absolutely perfect. The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and attentive, and the food was absolutely amazing.

Every single dish was flawless. The entire lunchtime experience was fantastic, and if you’ve never been here before, I highly, highly recommend checking it out, you won’t be disappointed.

It has already made it onto my top restaurant list, and it’s staying there.
