Visit & Vibes

Before coming to Alicante, I did some research on places to eat, and two burger spots kept getting a lot of attention. One of them was a very, very long walk away, and the other was much closer, this one. So after visiting the castle, building up an appetite, I decided to come here and see if their burgers were really as good as all the reviews claimed.

After taking my time exploring the castle, I finally arrived. I think they had only recently opened, as I had the place to myself. I ordered a beer while I looked through the menu and decided to go for…

2 smashes of 100g of beef, cheddar, Monterrey Jack, threads of fried red onion marinated in dark beer, crispy bacon noodles, Bourbon sauce, brioche bread and a sprinkle of Doritos powder.

To be honest, I really struggled to decide which burger to have. They all looked and sounded amazing on the menu, but eventually I had to make a choice, and I went for this one.

The portion size was impressive, and the smell of the burger was incredible. After taking my photos, it was finally time to start my lunch.

I began with the chips and wow… these were fantastic. They were perfectly salted, perfectly cooked, and had a great crispness to them. Honestly, some of the nicest chips I’ve tasted in a very, very long time.

Then it was time to take a bite of this big burger.

Wow. Yep, I’m saying it again, wow. It was unbelievably tasty. The smashed patties had a lovely flavour, the crispy bacon was so good, and the bourbon sauce mixed with the cheese, the burger, and the bacon was just incredible. This is probably one of the best burgers I’ve had in a very, very long time.

It sounds bad to admit, but once I finished, I could have easily eaten another one. That’s how good it was. You could taste every ingredient individually, and when everything came together in each bite, all the flavours worked perfectly.

I can’t wait to come back here and have this burger again, or try a different one from these guys.

Final Thoughts…

I’m so glad I visited today. I had a fantastic lunch, the burger was amazing, and the fries were really good. If you’re a burger fan and you’re in Alicante, I highly recommend checking this place out. You won’t be disappointed, but make sure to double-check their opening times before you go.
