Visit & Vibes

After walking around a bit more, I still had some time to kill before heading to the airport — just enough time to grab some dinner. I didn’t know where to go, so I wandered along Nyhavn looking at different menus. I stopped at this place when I saw fish and chips on the menu and thought, “Yep, that sounds good!” Plus, it would get me out of the rain, so I went in.

Inside was nice — not too busy, which was great — and the staff were very friendly.

When the menu was placed down, I couldn’t find fish and chips anywhere. I’m guessing that must have been on the dinner menu, and I was just a bit too early for that. So, I had a look at the menu I was given and thought, let’s go for the burger instead.

Brioche bun with 200g minced beef, cheddar cheese and lettuce served with french fries and mayonnaise

When it arrived, the burger was massive, and everything looked really good. I was especially looking forward to a hot meal to warm me up after being out in the rain and cold wind.

I started with the chips — they were perfectly cooked with a lovely crispness to them. I then tried one with the dip, which turned out to be a truffle mayo — and wow, it was super tasty!

Now, onto the burger. I took a big bite and oh, this was very nice! The burger had a great flavour, and everything together worked perfectly. The burger and chips definitely hit the spot after all that walking.

Overall, today’s visit was really nice. I was glad to get out of the rain and enjoy something warm. The burger was tasty, and the restaurant had a lovely, relaxing atmosphere.
