I recently noticed that Cameron House at Loch Lomond had a Christmas market a week or two ago, so I thought, why not visit? I decided to check it out and see if anything caught my eye that I could get for my new house.
The layout was done very well, with many different types of stalls. However, there weren’t many Christmas-themed ones; it was more focused on food, drinks, some clothing, and a little bit of everything else. That would be my only complaint, but it was great to see how busy the place was and how many people were supporting the local vendors, which I love to see.
There were a few stalls that caught my attention, but since I had just finished my house renovations and was on a budget, I was mindful of my spending. I only planned to buy something if it really stood out. My main reason for visiting was to check out the market and get into the festive spirit.
One stall that did catch my eye was from a company called Jalisgow. I love trying new drinks and discovering new brands, which is why I’m part of a monthly rum club. What really grabbed my attention was their coffee liqueur. After talking to the team behind the brand, I learned it was made with tequila, which was right up my alley—combining two of my favourite drinks into one!

I was given a small sample to try, and within seconds, I was in love. It was amazing—the flavour was absolutely perfect.
The taste starts with a strong coffee hit, followed by a smooth combination of tequila and coffee, with a wonderfully subtle coffee aftertaste. For me, it was perfection, and within those few seconds of tasting it, I knew I had to buy it.

After talking more with the guy and learning about the company, I have to say, that the people behind it are extremely nice—very friendly and great to chat with. They offered me a bottle to promote on my blog, and since I’m the kind of blogger who loves to support local businesses, I offered to pay. They were persistent in offering it for free, but I managed to give them a little something as every bit helped. It’s always nice to be kind! I couldn’t wait to take the bottle home, open it up, and relax while sipping on it.
Once I got home, tidied up, and made dinner, I decided to sit down and properly enjoy this liqueur, pouring myself a generous glass.
After taking another sip, wow—I was blown away! The flavour is incredible, with no burn and an incredibly smooth finish. I absolutely loved it! If you’re a fan of coffee liqueur, tequila, or both, this is a must-try. I’ll definitely be stocking up with more for my cupboard soon!
I’m going to be very honest: this drink was amazing, and it didn’t last long in my house. The flavour and style are exactly what I love. I enjoyed it from start to finish, and once my bills are a bit more manageable, I plan on purchasing another bottle or two. Not only was it incredible, but it’s also great to support local businesses. If this sounds like something you’d enjoy, place an order, let me know what you think, and enjoy!
