Visit & Vibes
Today I was out with friends and we headed back to the West End of Glasgow and just took a chance to see where could take us for dinner.
We arrived at Sano and were instantly welcomed.
Inside is very nice and modern, and they have a big pizza oven…this is my first time here so I was looking forward to checking out their pizzas.

The Food
I wanted to just randomly pick a pizza and see how it was, and this is the one I went for
Sapori Del Sud £12.90
Italian fennel sausage, nduja (a spicy pork paste from Italy), friarielli & fresh mozzarella (no tomato base)

On arrival this looked interesting, the toppings were nicely placed and it looked very good.
It had an ok aroma, nothing too strong….but now it was time to taste and see what it was like.
I took a bite and instantly the sausage flavour was the first to hit me, followed by the nduja then the friarielli.
The flavour was ok, if it didn’t have these stronger flavours it would have been a very dull pizza but with these it was nice.
I am glad I tried it, for what it is it was nice but I would try a different one on my next visit.

Final Thoughts…
Today’s visit was good, we all had a nice time and enjoyed the food.
As I said earlier for what it was my pizza was nice, but I would try a different one on eon my next visit.
I am glad I now have finally checked these guys out and look forward to trying them again.
