Visit & Vibes
I was at Bella Vita last year when I was doing the Italian awards, and had to add it to my list to return. I added a few others as that year’s finalist judging was very very difficult and was a hard choice.
I finally returned tonight and couldn’t wait to try more of the dishes as I really enjoyed the food when I was last here.
Inside is really nicely decorated, and has a really warm and relaxing atmosphere.

The Food
I remembered one of the dishes I got at the judging and had to have it again but didn’t know what to have for my main…as I spotted a few I wanted to try.
The guys at Bella Vita brought out a selection of lovely tasters, everything looked amazing and the aroma was very good.
Each taster was very very tasty, though the fish sticks (like fish fingers) in the cones with the mayo were the clear winners! I could have easily had loads more of them instead of my main food.
After an amazing start, my main arrived.

Chicken strips coated in a paprika & spiced batter served with a dressed salad & sweet chilli dip
This was one of the dishes I tried last visit and kept it on my list to try again when I returned.
This looked good, had a good aroma and now it was time to dig in and see how they were tonight.
I took a bite and mmm so so good!
The chicken was perfectly cooked and lovely and tender, the batter perfect light crispness with an amazing flavour.

SPAGHETTI CARBONARA £12.50
Pan-seared diced smoked bacon & onions, finished with double cream, parmesan, black pepper & parsley
I spotted they did Spaghetti Carbonara but it mentioned “cream” so I asked them if they did it the proper Italian way and they said yeah.
On arrival, this looked nice and had a great aroma! I couldn’t wait to dig right in.
I took a bite and WOW! mega impressed! the pasta was cooked perfectly, the flavours were flavour was amazing and I have to say it’s one of the nicest Spaghetti Carbonara I have ever had.

Final Thoughts…
It was nice to be back again, and one where I could just focus on my meal and who I was with 100%
I can’t fault anything tonight, everything was perfect and the food was amazing.
I am adding Bella Vita to my top places to visit list.
