I have bagged 8 Munros so far and in all that time I didn’t really know some of the basics of hiking, so I spotted this day course on Facebook and thought it sounded very good.

The Day and Hike
I get to learn some of the basics and also take in 2 Munros taking me up to 10
Kirsty who was our leader today and also a qualified Mountain Leader, was great from the start of the day till the end of the day. We got told lots of great and useful information, and she was always making sure everyone was ok, comfortable in what they were doing, and making sure we were safe.
Today’s weather was a little hit and miss, there was a chance thunder could come over and end the day…the rain could have got heavier but we started and if it was going to be unsafe Kirsty would tell us to head back to our cars.
The weather was just ok, visibility wasn’t great but at least we weren’t getting soaked. This was a tough one as there were loads of steps going up, which was hard on everyone but we all got to the top of each and back down nice and safe.

Woohoo another two bagged and it was such a great day, granted the weather wasn’t great but it’s Scotland every day is different and you can’t always get great weather when hiking.
⛰️Stob Dubh (Buachaille Etive Beag) Munro 9 – 956m
⛰️Stob Coire (Buachaille Etive Beag) Munro 10 – 925m

Everyone who came on the day out was very friendly, and also had a great time taking in either their first two Munros or bagging their 3rd and 4th
