Visit & Vibes

I have passed here many times, as my car’s garage is not far from here but I have never stopped in this area and gone in.

Today I was spending the day with someone and they had a dog, so finding dog-friendly places plus vegetarian is a little tricky but here popped up and we decided to visit.

Inside is really nice and very nicely decorated, they have two sections to sit in and also a great beer selection (I was driving sadly).

The Food

I felt like a pizza or a burger, and I opted for a burger but since I was with someone who was vegetarian and it is an area I would like to try more…I went for this burger.

The Dirty Scotsman (v) £13.95
Moving Mountains B12 Burger, Hot Sauce, Haggis, Pepperjack Cheese & Crispy Onions

On arrival this looked nice, and also did have a nice aroma.

Now let’s see how it tasted…

I took a big bite and it was interesting! Flavor-wise it was ok, I could tell it wasn’t a real burger but it did have a good texture, and mixed with the other items it did as I said have an ok flavor.

The chips were perfectly cooked and for me didn’t require any additional salt etc….yummy!

Overall this was an interesting option, for me if it didn’t have the hot sauce I don’t think it would have had much flavor to it but…I am glad I tried it as its an option I am going to try and get into more.

You are probably asking “would I have it again” and the honest answer is yes, it was a nice burger, with tasty fries and very filling.

Final Thoughts…

Overall I am glad I finally checked here out, and I would easily come back to try some other dishes and maybe a beer if I wasn’t driving.

I am also glad I tried something different today, as it’s always good to try new things.
