Todays Visit

Today I took a wee drive with my mum to Silverburn to do a bit of shopping, and we spotted that this place was now open.

We thought let’s grab something and check it out.

Inside was lovely and very nicely decorated, though they do only have one toilet inside for both males and females, so if it’s busy you would need to wait and wasn’t that clean…better using the main shopping centre ones.

During the whole time we were in the staff were always looking at what tables were free and to see how many more people they could get in, and due to this, they missed a few tables looking for service or even the bill.

The Food

I thought let’s get two items from the menu and this is what I opted for.

Belgian Chocolate Milkshake £5.65
Belgian chocolate gelato, fresh milk, chocolate shavings

On arrival, this looked very nice, and a good size so I couldn’t wait to check it out.

I took a sip and it was just ok, milkier than chocolate flavour. The chocolate on the glass you see in the photo was just frozen onto the side of the glass, and all the shavings just settled at the bottom.

On a scale of 1 to 10 for chocolate flavour, this was only a 5, which when it was meant to be Belgium chocolate I would have expected a lot higher.

Hot Mini Doughnuts £4.25
Three mini doughnuts to dip

On arrival, these looked good, and a nice wee size to just sit chat and nibble on.

I took a bite and mm these were light fluffy and had a good amount of chocolate inside.

I enjoyed these and would have them again.

Visit Overall

Overall today’s visit was just ok, attentiveness of the staff was not great, and the constant walking around looking to see when a table would be free is very off-putting for the people sitting as they would feel rushed.

The items I got were just ok, and what my mum got she said again was just ok.

I don’t think I would go back as there are much better places to get my dessert fix…sorry guys!
