Todays Visit

Ages a go a friend told me about this place and I added it to my ever growing list of places to visit.

Today I finally checked it out, but my first stop was lunch.

They had a lovely looking café here and also a take away van, I opted for the café and found a table outside as it was a very warm day today.

The Food

I had no idea what to order but the first thing that caught my attention was the lobster!

I have never had lobster so I thought today is the day to try it.

Atlantic lobster roll with chips £12

I was very excited as I love trying new things and I was a hungry boy.

On arrival this looked very interesting, and very nice and I couldnt wait to dig right in.

I started with the chips.

These were very nice, fluffy and had a nice chip taste to them…personally just a few more would have been better but I think that’s probably due to how hungry I was 🙂

Now the lobster roll…

I took a big bite and tasted it…

Hmm ok flavours were nice, I was getting lemon and a nice balance of flavours. I don’t know if it was just me but I was a little disappointed as I thought lobster would have had a stronger flavour.

Overall though it was very nice, and tasty and filled a wee gap.

I really had a nice lunch here.

The girl who was serving us was very helpful and very friendly.

I would try something else next time, but I did enjoy todays lunch.

Now it was time for me to take a walk around the Artland.
