Hettie’s Tearoom Afternoon Tea (Pitlochry, Scotland) 2021 : Review

The Visit

Todays wee drive was to Pitlochry and to see the sights, but I had also booked Hetties for Afternoon Tea as the photos I had seen on Google looked really good.

The Afternoon Tea

By memory this was about £22 per person

Once ordered they ask what two types of sandwiches you would like and today I opted for:

  • Coronation Chicken
  • Tuna and cheese

You are first presented with this sandwich platter, sausage rolls and quiche.

The sandwiches were very fresh and very tasty, but for me the quiche and sausage rolls were the winners. The flavours of both were really really good, and I look forward to having them again when I next visit.

Next is the massive selection of cakes, and a side plate of scones with cream and jam.

At first I was thinking hmm just one scone each, but due to all the cakes I understand why….you need the space 🙂

The scones were very nice, and worked well with the cream and jam.

The massive amount of cakes was very good, and everything was very fresh and very tasty.

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Overall :

Firstly WOW for value for money is really good, I would happily recommend here for a place to come for afternoon tea.

The tea room is very clean and the staff are very attentive and friendly.

I am adding here to my top spots page.

My Rating :

Rating: 5 out of 5.
