For many years the Ashoka always has had a good name, I can honestly say I have not spoken to anyone who has hated it here its always been positive.

Today I decided to pop in to the one at the West End and give it a shot, but I wasnt really hungry as I just had a few things from the Glasgow Mela…but I am a food blogger so I had to have at least 2 courses so I could share my experience with you.

The Food :

Haggis Pakora £5.25

I asked the waiter what were the most popular dishes for starters, and he recommended

Portion Size : 5
Flavour : 5
Presentation : 3

Prawn Masala £10.95 and Chappati £1.25

Any Indian restaurant I visit I have to on my first visit try the Korma, this is my favourite dish and if they don’t do it well then I won’t go back so

Portion Size : 5
Flavour : 4
Presentation : 4

Overall :

Overall my first visit here was good, I enjoyed the meal and the atmosphere.

The waiter tonight was very helpful, he explained everything and very attentive.

I was very shocked at the cost of tonight’s meal, this was cheaper than I had expected so I was pleasantly surprised.

I look forward to my next visit
