I was heading to Verona and wanted to do a day trip while I was there. I looked at several places, but Bologna was the one I chose. While scrolling through TikTok for possible sights to see in Bologna, Mò Mortadella Lab kept popping up, and everything I saw looked amazing. I commented on their post saying that if I visited, I would definitely check them out, and I did exactly that!

When I used Google Maps, it took me to one of their old locations, but the new shop is literally a one-minute walk away on an adjacent street and super easy to find. Upon arrival, the next challenge was deciding what to order. One of the items I had spotted on TikTok was from their old menu, so I had to take a few moments to read the current menu and decide.

The Food

Once I made my choice and got my ticket number to wait, I watched the guys prepare the food, and everything they made looked incredible. I could have easily had one of each!

My number was finally called, and I was handed a huge sandwich packed with the mortadella meat, and everything else. It looked amazing. Stepping outside and after taking a few quick pictures, I continued my walk around Bologna while eating. It was super tasty; every bite was wonderful, very fresh, and very filling.

I am so happy I managed to visit and check them out.

If I am ever back in Bologna, I am definitely going to try another one of their options. This was an absolutely amazing sandwich and one I would highly, highly recommend you try if you are ever in the city!

As I’ve said, I am really happy I managed to check these guys out and finally taste something I had been seeing so much of on TikTok!

This is a very filling sandwich, so I would recommend it for lunch. That way, you can save room for either a nice dinner later in Bologna or whatever delicious food is waiting for you if you’re traveling somewhere else.

As I said before, definitely make this one of your stops if you travel to Bologna. You will not be disappointed!
