Visit & Vibes

Today, I was heading into town to do some Christmas shopping, and I thought I’d pop back in here since it’s been a while. I’ve always enjoyed coming here for either lunch or dinner when I’m in the area.

Inside Princess Square, all the Christmas decorations were up, adding a little something extra to the lovely atmosphere.

The Food

For my late lunch, I decided to have the Cranachan Burger (£15.95) — a 100% Scottish beef burger topped with bacon, cheese, a crispy onion ring, and sliced dill pickle, all served on a brioche bun with skinny fries.

When it arrived, it looked fantastic, and I couldn’t wait to dig in since I was really hungry.

I started with the fries, which were perfectly cooked and didn’t need any extra salt for my taste.

Then, I took a big bite of the burger, and wow, it was delicious! The patty was perfectly cooked and seasoned just right—I could taste a hint of pepper, which I really enjoyed. Combined with the other toppings, it was incredibly flavorful. What stood out to me was that the bacon was cooked to perfection, not underdone like it often is with some burgers.

Overall, this was a very satisfying burger that filled me up, and I would definitely have it again.

Overall, it was another great visit, and I’m glad I decided to go back. I was happy to see they’re still busy and have even increased their seating capacity.
