Visit & Vibes

I recently took a trip to Silverburn Shopping Centre to finish my Christmas shopping, and after spending some time there, I had worked up a bit of an appetite.

I decided to return to Patisserie Valerie, as it had been a while since my last visit, and I wanted to check them out again.

Located towards the back of the shopping centre, the café offers plenty of seating. Luckily, I managed to get a table despite it being quite busy today. It was nice to be back.

The Food

Today, I was presented with two menus: their main menu and a festive menu. I decided to explore the festive menu to see if anything caught my eye.

One item that stood out was a croissant filled with Brie, stuffing, and cranberry—it sounded delicious, so I had to try it.

When it arrived, it looked great, and I couldn’t wait to dig in since I was getting hungry. With the first bite, I found it absolutely lovely. The flavours worked extremely well together—the croissant was warm, fluffy, and incredibly tasty. I’m so glad I chose this dish, as I enjoyed every bite from start to finish.

There were a few other tempting items on the festive menu, so if you visit, be sure to check it out—especially since it’s the season for trying something festive.

Final Thoughts…

Overall, it was nice to be back, and I’m glad I tried something different this time. It’s good to see that this Patisserie Valerie is still open, especially since some of their other branches have closed. Patisserie Valerie has always been one of my favourite spots for afternoon tea or a nice brunch.
