Riva Boutique Hotel in Helensburgh has revamped its food and beverage offering, re-launching as Santé Bar & Bistro.
Taking its inspiration from the Mediterranean Coast, Santé Bar & Bistro will offer both a small plates lunch menu, with three small plates costing just £15.95, available Monday to Saturday 12 noon to 4pm, and an à la carte menu, heavily influenced by Italian cuisine.
With bookings live from this Friday, 5th June, Santé Bar & Bistro will additionally showcase Daily Specials, showcasing French, Greek and Moroccan flavours.
Sunday Roast is available every Sunday from midday, alongside the à la carte menu.
“As the calendar turns to June, we felt it was the perfect time of the year to introduce our stunning refresh as Santé Bar & Bistro, within the beautiful Riva Hotel here on Helensburgh’s waterfront,” said Denny Norris. Operations Manager.
“The name “Santé” is used to toast your good health. We think that our delicious Mediterrean themed food, full of fresh ingredients, is indeed just the tonic that is needed at this time of the year as we seek out lighter choices featuring luxurious seafood, flavour enhancing herbs, and tongue tingling sauces.”
Denny went on to say that Santé’s food, locally sourced wherever possible, offers exceptional value for money, particularly the three small plates at just £15.95.
“Our team of chefs have worked hard to come up with menus that have something for everyone, whether it’s a favourite pasta dish, small plates to share with friends, or a traditional dining experience on a Sunday with our succulent roast. As ever, you’ll be assured of attentive service. We have a wide range of drinks to accompany your food, including signature cocktails & spritzes, and we also have a children’s menu,” he said.
Small plate choices cover all the zing of the Mediterrean, with Burrata with fresh heirloom tomatoes, pollo alla Milanese, and quinoa with feta cheese and pomegranate.
Dishes on the à la carte menu include “proper fish & chips”, pizzettes made fresh on the premises, and authentic pasta dishes with luxurious ingredients. These include slow braised beef bauletti, with black garlic and red wine sauce, a black truffle vel with pecorino cream and crispy shallots, beetroot girasoli with chickpeas, aromatic spices and arrabiatta sauce, and a lobster bauletti with a shellfish bisque and micro herbs.
Desserts include home-made sticky toffee pudding, homemade cheesecake of the day, & quality Italian gelatos and sorbets.
