Visit & Vibes

I felt like having a munchie box, but my usual place was closed. I remembered that I hadn’t tried anything from Amber since it opened, and I’d only heard good things about it.

I checked their website to see if they offered a munchie box, and they did, in two sizes: small and large. So, I decided to go down, order one, and check it out.

The Food

At the time of ordering, I was quite hungry. The small box looked quite small, so I decided to go for the large munchie box. Wow, okay, it was definitely large! Next time, I will order the smaller one.

Upon opening the box, it was packed and had a nice aroma. It included a few different items from the place I usually order from and came with two sauces. Now it was time to taste and see how it was.

I started with the chips. They were perfectly cooked, though I prefer the chips from the other place slightly more. However, these were still very, very nice. I then spotted some prawn toast, and wow, it was very tasty. I highly recommend it. If you’re a prawn toast lover, definitely order it even as your starter; it’s really good. Next, I moved on to the crispy chicken, which was also really tasty. Then I tried the ribs, which had a good amount of meat on them, unlike the ones from my usual place that skimps on the meat. I thoroughly enjoyed the ribs.

I continued digging in to see how much of this massive box I could finish. I managed to eat over half, which was very good. Overall, this was an extremely tasty munchie box. It was quite salty, but everything was delicious, and the curry sauce added an extra layer of flavour. I would easily order this again and recommend it if you’re into munchie boxes. The large one is definitely for sharing as it is quite big. However, I thoroughly enjoyed it and would get it again, but in a smaller size.

Final Thoughts…

Overall, this was a really good visit. The staff member who served me was very nice and helpful. The munchie box, considering its size, was fantastic value. Everything was full of flavour, really tasty, and perfectly cooked. While the chips were good, I still prefer the ones from the other place I usually order from. However, everything else was spot on, and I would easily order this again. Next time, I would probably opt for the smaller-sized munchie box, as I only managed to eat just over half.
