Nestled in the heart of Duke Street, Coia’s Cafe is a culinary gem that promises an authentic Italian dining experience.

Although it had been quite some time since my last visit to Coia’s Cafe, today was a special event—a staff leaving dinner. I was eager to check out the updated menu and see what new dishes were available.

The Food

Pizza Milano £13.95
Tomato base, mozzarella, salami, pepperoni and Italian sausage

After looking at the menu, I decided on the Pizza Milano. This pizza, with its enticing combination of flavors, promised to be a treat for the taste buds.

When the pizza arrived, it looked very good and the aroma was just as good.

The crust was perfectly golden and crisp, providing a satisfying crunch with each bite. The tomato base was tangy and fresh, complementing the creamy, melted mozzarella beautifully. The combination of salami, pepperoni, and Italian sausage added layers of savory, spicy flavors that were simply irresistible.

Each bite was really good and packed with really great flavors, this is one I would easily have again.

Final Thoughts…

Overall, it was nice to be back. I think the food was much better on this visit compared to my last one.

I really enjoyed the pizza, and next time I visit, I will either try another pizza or a pasta dish.
